It is obvious that Vietnamese “pho bo” is not much difficult to make. Hence, today we would like to introduce one secret of tasty beef noodle that enables you to be “addicted”.
- 1 kg beef bones
- 1 kg beef briskets
- 400g beef balls
- 1 noodle flavor package (cardamom, cinnamon, anise, coriander)
- 3 balls of noodle spices
- 50 grams fresh ginger
- 3 red shallots
- 15 grams salt
- 50 grams seasoning powder
- Banh pho (rice noodles)
- 1 onion, spring onions and served raw vegetables concludes basils, corianders and bean sprouts.
Step 1: Firstly, slice gingers, remove the shallot shells, double cut then dry on the heat.
Step 2: Put beef bones to the pot filled with enough water, high heat, boil in five minutes to releasing the scum.
Step 3:Then dump out the impurities on pot. Add 2.5 litter fresh water and place beef brisket on, then simmer in 1 hour
Step 4: Add shallots, cinnamons, flavor package, spices balls. Simmer in more 30 minutes.
Step 5: Add beef balls and 15 grams salt, 50 grams seasoning powder, simmer more half an hour then turn off the heat
Step 6: Thinly slice spring onions and onions
Step 7: Then double cut beef balls to mouth-sized
Step 8: Slice beef brisket
Step 9: Finally, soak noodle in hot boiling water in 1-2 minutes, add to the serving bowl the beef balls, beef briskets, spring onions, onions. Pour the broth into and taste in heat. Besides, pho bo is more delish when being served with some different Vietnamese raw vegetables.
In the nutshells, it is easy for performing an authentic pho bo that contains the gently tasty water base, chewy banh pho (rice noodles) as well as fragrant coriander, lemon, chili paste and chili-garlic mixture.
NOTE: Remember to remove the impurities to make the broth clear. Use more beef bones to simmer and adjust seasonings when you do not want to use spices balls. Wish you have a perfect pho bo!
